From the Presage Classic Series – watches designed with inherent Japanese elegance, this limited edition watch features a smoky and gradated ‘Shiracha’ coloured dial – a popular dye colour during the Edo period. Its dial texture is inspired by soft Japanese silk – a popular material since ancient times; often seen in home décor and clothing.
Under dual-curved sapphire glass, the domed dial with curved hands and indices evoke vintage style and are designed to maximise light reflections. With bronze-coloured plating, knurled edges and a super-hard coating for scratch resistance, the curved, mirror-finished case emphasises a timeless look.
This is the first Classic Series timepiece to feature a brown calf leather strap; its vintage-style material is ethically and responsibly sourced from upcycled luxury shoe leather offcuts. The premium lining used on the strap is the same used within the original shoe design.
This Classic Series timepiece is powered by an in-house built 6R55 calibre, accurate to -15/+25 seconds per day, with a three-day 72-hour power reserve. One of only 3,000 pieces created globally, with its issue number on the caseback, it comes in a limited edition box.
