Inspired by the sudden warm winds that sweep down from the Rockies and flip Alberta’s winters on their head, the Chinook Shell is built for change. Fully waterproof, windproof, and adjustable, it’s the layer you reach for when the forecast feels like a gamble.

Wear it solo in the rain, or pair it with the Chinook Sherpa when the temperature drops. Together, they give you a layering system designed for the new reality of Canadian winters.

Features & Materials

• Waterproof & Breathable Protection: Made with 100% high-stretch mechanical polyester shell fabric with TPU (10K/10K waterproof/breathability), finished with a PFC-free DWR for eco-friendly performance.

• Reinforced Seams & Structure: Fully taped seams provide complete waterproof and windproof protection, while the hood’s reinforced brim ensures lasting structure in stormy conditions.

• Ventilation Options: Underarm zipper vents allow for enhanced breathability when you’re on the move and need to ditch heat. 

• Adjustable Fit: Equipped with an adjustable hem and hood for wind protection, plus hook-and-loop cuffs to lock in warmth and keep the elements out.

• Smart Storage: Two front hand pockets with reinforced flaps and a chest pocket with a waterproof zipper keep essentials secure and dry.

• Northern Sun Detailing: Finished with a heat-transfer NS logo on the chest for a clean, technical look.
