Your Body Called - It Wants It's Magnesium Back.

Studies show that our soils and food sources are depleted of magnesium. This means that receiving our daily intake from our diets alone is much more of a challenge than ever before. The vast majority of Canadians are magnesium deficient.

Early signs of magnesium deficiency include nausea, fatigue, weakness, high anxiety and loss of appetite, to name a few; but as magnesium deficiency begins to worsen, more symptoms such as numbness, muscular cramps, seizures, personality changes, abnormal heart rhythms, and coronary spasms can occur.

Due to vitamins and minerals constantly competing for absorption in our digestive tracts, as well as the presence of stomach acids and digestive enzymes; only a small portion of what we intend to intake, actually gets absorbed into our bloodstream. Applying magnesium topically does not encounter the issues a capsule or tablet experiences in the digestive tract.

In a study done by Dr. Shealy, significant results were seen when using magnesium transdermally! Not only does your body absorb the magnesium that it needs when applied to the skin, but topically applying magnesium can provide instant relief for muscular pains and aches as well, since it is a natural muscle relaxant.

Magnesium is proven to lessen the sensation of pain. It is also shown to contribute to the health and restoration of the cartilage that protects the joints, and to the improvement of arthritis.
There are sufficient studies to show that magnesium is successful in relieving muscle pain. The benefit of using a natural topical pain reliever is there are no digestive discomforts and no limit on how often topical magnesium products can be used. There are no potential health risks associated with the ingredients such as those that are posed with conventional pain relievers.

Muscle pain can be experienced in practically all areas of the body. This includes our back, shoulders, calves, hands and even our feet. Implementing regular exercise and stretching and respecting our body’s limits can play a role in keeping this type of pain managed. However, there are some contributors to muscle pain that cannot be managed through outside actions. Intense muscle contractions, cramping (including menstrual cramps) and even Restless Legs Syndrome have been proven to be signs that there are insufficient levels of magnesium contained within our cells. Inside of our bodies there exists constant competition between minerals and nutrients. In the battle between calcium and magnesium, calcium always wins. When calcium accumulates in excess amounts, it can cause painful muscle contractions which are know to us as cramps, spasms, or tics. In simple terms - inadequate levels of cellular magnesium allows calcium to take control and create discomfort. This manifests as most types of muscle pain, tension, spasms and cramps. A fast, natural and effective solution could easily be the application of topical magnesium over the affected area.

Magnesium is something that each and every body actually needs on a daily basis, since our bodies do not produce it. That being said, it has been reported that the traditional way of introducing magnesium to the body is substantially less effective than the transdermal route; so popping magnesium supplements is likely not the most reliable solution.
Drumroll please...
Topical Magnesium!

If you’re using the magnesium for an affected area of the body, apply directly to that area and massage to absorb.
If your specific use does not have an ‘affected area,’ apply to abdomen and massage to absorb.
